"Goodness is the only investment that never fails" -Henry David Thoreau What this quote means is that goodness is the only thing that doesn't fail anyone. If you are the type of person that  does good things then you are doing a good job on that. If you are a person that doesn't do any good things then you should start too. Many people do good things because We are in tough times right now and there is a lot going on at the moment. Some of the things that are going on at the moment are school shootings, terrorists and many other things. Some people believe that doing a good thing(act of kindness), there can be a better place if we all did something good. 

"In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing" -Theodore Roosevelt What this quote means is that if you make a great decision something good will come to you. An example of this quote can be when your friends do drug and they want you to join them but your not sure. The best thing that you can do is to say no thank you. Something great will come to you by doing whats right. If you choose to do drugs then you are not doing the right thing and you will be punished for what you have done.
